CAPCOG RLEA graduates 19 cadets

The CAPCOG Regional Law Enforcement Academy graduated 19 cadets from its Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC) No. 90 on May 8, and each student earned their Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Peace Officer certificate after passing their exam on the first attempt.

“CAPCOG congratulates these cadets for the work they put in during this BPOC,” said Mike Jennings, RLEA director. “This class came together as one, and each and everyone worked with each other to become a very good class. They faced adversity during the COVID-19 crisis and conquered it by continuing to excel in their studies to become peace officers.”

After 6 months and 841 hours of course work, the following cadets earned their certificates:

  3. Brandon Akin
  4. Luke Begwin
  5. Leia Boggs
  6. Bart Bonfantini
  7. Robert “Scott” Burnette
  8. Kyle Churchill
  9. Mitchell Dworski
  10. Zack Everett
  11. Angel Garcia
  12. Kelly Loudenback
  13. Joshua Mazon
  14. Randall Mouser
  15. Tyler Mueller
  16. Jake Patterson
  17. Bradley Puente
  18. Chase Smith
  19. Xavier Thomas

The following four cadets earned the RLEA Director’s Award for scoring a 90 percent or better on their TCOLE Exam:
