CAPCOG begins telework schedules amid COVID-19 pandemic

The Capital Area Council of Governments has moved employees to teleworking schedules beginning this week; some staff will be in its offices on an as-needed basis depending on their duties.

During this time, the best way to contact staff will be through email; however, many of its staff will have their desk phones forwarded to their cellphones. CAPCOG offices are now closed to persons who are not employees, and most meetings and training courses have been postponed or will be conducted via conference calls; those impacted by changes with meetings will be notified via email. The Regional Law Enforcement Academy (RLEA) will continue with its BPOCs in session, and will have limited in-service classes – contact RLEA directly.

Please refer to www.capcog.org’s Staff Directory for all email addresses and phone numbers. CAPCOG will email and post updates of its operations at capcog.org.

If you are looking for support from the Area Agency on Aging of the Capital Area, it is recommended that you email Information, Referral and Assistance or call 512-916-6062 or 888-622-9111. Please do not visit the CAPCOG offices at this time.

If you are looking for assistance with supports and services from the Aging and Disability Resource Center, it is recommended that you email the ADRC or call 855-937-2372.
